Welcome to Circlab
We offer a collaborative space where you can explore the technologies and competencies of 3D-printing.
Together, we aim to make the transition to a renewable and circular society smarter, simpler, and more cost-effective.
Our Story
Circlab was founded in 2015 with support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Torsby Municipality, and Region Värmland. Since then, we’ve grown into a centre for innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge development in:
- Additive manufacturing (3D printing)
- Bio-based materials for 3D printing (biocomposites)
Since February 2022, Circlab has also been part of Stjerneskolan’s three-year technology programme, specialising in design and product development with a 3D profile.
Our Network
We collaborate with a wide range of partners—locally, nationally, and internationally. Our network includes:
- Regional partners: Paper Province, Sting Bioeconomy, Pro2Be at Karlstad University, IUC Dalarna, and more.
- Technology and material partners: RISE in Mölndal, ABB, and KFM Maskin i Sverige AB.
- International partners: Especially strong ties with organisations in Norway.
Our Projects
To expand and share our knowledge and resources, we actively participate in various development projects.
