The business development services of the municipality are performed by TUAB, Torsby Utveckling AB. We offer free-of-charge business advising, information and support and help to guide you on the path from idea to established business, around issues like business-plan, financing, localities and more.
TUAB har been in operation since 1998 and is co-owned by Torsby Municipality, Torsby Business Assoc., Swedish Trade Assoc. And Team Torsby. Our main objective is to develop business in Torsby, focusing on smaller companies, giving advise and support to new and existing enterprises. We arrange business meetings and education activities according to the needs of the companies. We act as advisors to new enterprises and business/trade development and conduct project to meet these needs. We can also offer advise concerning energy- and climate issues, to businesses or private persons.

Contact the municipal enterprise strategist
Hans Nilsson is the municipality´s enterprise strategist and functions as a resource on issues concerning investments, business establishment and applications for grants and funds for companies, regionally and nationally.
The business development strategist guides companies through the municipal organization and acts as a coordinator when several municipal funcions are involved in an assignment.
